description: The City of Fort Worth speed humps feature class is a point data depiction of the speed humps as of October, 2012, mapped per work drawings and using the 2001 – 2011 orthophotography as a background. The City of Fort Worth maintains the pavement markings on the speed humps, but no longer installs speed humps on city streets. However, contractors are contractually obligated to replace an existing speed hump located in a street project. Data includes an arbitrary ID #, the device type, the street name, the block or street boundaries as given on the work order, road width, installation date where available, corresponding neighborhood association name, Council District #, & Mapsco page & grid, status, pavement marking condition, and remarks. The device type includes speed hump (a solid device), speed cushion (a device with gaps for FD trucks), raised crosswalk (very large solid device), & speed table (1 test location).
