Description: City limits represent the corporate boundary for the City of Fort Worth. The initial boundaries were set in the city's charter and have regularly expanded through a series of ordinances in a process called Annexation. Annexed areas fall into two categories: full purpose and limited purpose. This data includes polygons marked with a designation of either full purpose or limited purpose.
