<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This feature class includes polygons which depict the approximate footprint of structures within the City of Fort Worth and its ETJ. Polygons for each building were procedurally generated by Nearmap using their </SPAN><A href="https://help.nearmap.com/kb/articles/798-generation-4-ai-content" STYLE="text-decoration:underline;"><SPAN>Generation 4 Lightning Bolt </SPAN></A><SPAN>generative AI. All processing was performed on the October 2021 aerial imagery flight, which was provided to the City of Fort Worth in November 2021. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>IT-GIS further processed features by enriching the data by joining fields from other datasets. In particular, attributes include subdivision and lot, parcel values, property ownership, and NAICS codes for commercial properties. These attributes have not been revised since Spring 2022. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>As the building geometry was generated by a Generative AI system, some data quality issues have been observed since the data was deployed. In particular, parking decks, multi-roof buildings, and buildings in shadow are common errors. As of 2025, IT-GIS is evaluating options to replace the geometry.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
